Visible slivers of walnut punctuate this delightfully creamy Dutch style gouda. However, after the initial walnut taste, sharper fenugreek tones finish the cheese nicely. Served on an afternoon, or pre-dinner cheese platter, this is a wonderfully different cheese, but is possibly best served as a dessert style cheese with a quality fruit paste or jelly and some fresh fruit (apple or pear) or dried apricots or figs.

Ideal for pairing with a fruity paste, condiment on baguette, oat cakes or crackers, or simply enjoyed by itself.
We recommend a wine match of a sweeter light white wine (Pinot Gris, Riesling).
