Blue Brie

A gorgeously cream brie masquerading as a blue cheese, exhibiting the lightest blue piquant.  A great introduction to blue cheeses for those with a hesitancy to the sharp and salty nature of blue cheeses. Made by the Dennison family of Hawksbury Village, Otago, who have been making cheeses at their property for over 25 years.

Pair with:

A light fruit paste, quince, apple or pear and serve with a crusty baguette for the perfect picnic lunch.

Wine / beer match:

Match with a light red wine, Pinot Noir or Gamay to offset the slight sharpness with the red fruit notes of the lighter red wines.
